The designers of these lights believe that beauty can come from anywhere, even from boring old cardboard.
The lights are definitely Scrap Lights – 100% made out of recycled cardboard.
To form the Scrap Lights, rings are cut by laser out of the recycled cardboard boxes, layered and then glued together to the shapes of the pendants in a way that light can fall through to cast shadows on the wall.
The pendants are then coated to be fire-resistant before they are hung from the ceiling as semi transparent pendant lamps.
Any cardboard off-cuts are used to protect the lights in transit so nothing is wasted.
The light comes with 2m lead and a rose ceiling fitting. It is not attached to the cable but the lamp shade fits the fitting supplied.
We always suggest the light should be fitted by a qualified electrician.
